About Us
HarkerDoerre was formed in 2010 as a partnership between long-time colleagues David Harker and Karl Doerre. In 2003, Karl brought David onto his staff at Doerre Construction to spearhead a new interior upfit division. Over the past seven years, David has built that division into one of the premier upfit contractors in the Charlotte, NC area.
HarkerDoerre is the result of a very successful partnership between two experienced business men, comprising over 45 years of experience in the construction industry. HarkerDoerre is focused on providing the same customer service and innovation that David has continually delivered over the past seven years to his clients throughout the Carolinas.
As an expert in urban downtown markets as well as suburban office parks, HarkerDoerre specializes in the following areas: Class A Office, corporate and institutional food service, corporate headquarters, corporate office renovations, mission critical, sustainable projects and specialty work such as generator installation, fall protection installation, and escalator/elevator replacement.
